📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Oversee the daily operations of assigned bulk carrier vessels, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute voyage routes, optimizing fuel efficiency and minimizing operational costs.
• Coordinate with port authorities, cargo handlers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth cargo loading and unloading operations.
• Monitor vessel performance using advanced vessel management systems (VMS) and other maritime software tools.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the vessel's crew, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate records of vessel operations, including maintenance schedules, cargo manifests, and crew performance.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the bulk carrier industry.
• Professional certifications such as Master Mariner (MM) or Master Mariner (MM) with additional qualifications (e.g., OIM, OII, or OIMC).
• In-depth knowledge of international maritime regulations, including SOLAS, ISM, and ISPS.
• Proficient in using maritime software tools, including VMS, ECDIS, and cargo management systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on safety and operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with cargo handling operations, including bulk cargo types and loading/unloading procedures.
• Ability to work extended hours and be on call as required, including during weekends and holidays.
